Listen to live meteor burst audio received at Roswell, NM
http://spaceweatherradio.com/index.php or http://wowzaweb.streamguys.com/~spaceweather/ The broadcasts are provided by SpaceWeather.com This link is audio detected with an ICOM R-8500 receiver tuned to 217.927 MHz USB. The antenna is a 13 element 220 MHz. beam pointed upward and to the east. The CW signal is from a Space Radar facility in Lake Kickapoo, TX, formally called NAVSPASUR. It is now operated by the USAF. I'm currently feeding the audio to SpaceWeather using EdCast software over the internet. I recently added a 18 db. pre-amp tuned to 217 Mhz. A dramatic improvement! Stan Nelson at Roswell, NM
