May 26, 2001 Star Party at Bottomless Lakes, NM
Clear skies and lot's of mosquitoes accompanied a few of our intrepid members who help a dozen or so campers at the Bottomless Lakes State Park, SE of Roswell, to observe sunspots, the moon, and Messier objects. We even saw 'Mercury' which turned out to be a high altitude research balloon over in the direction of White Sands.
